The traffic looks awful! I'd hate to drive with all those motorcycles on the road....
And Sandra's school building does not look like a school... do all schools look like that? .... does it have a playground?... is this the after school for teaching English only? it looks like a language school for adults... you cannot imagine kids going there for a regular school day....

As we look at the pictures of the motorscooters parked on the sidewalks, reminds us of when we were in Paris. The taxis appear to be of North American design - very different than London and Paris. Can we conclude that Taipei has more of an American "flavour" than Euopean?
As you both may be aware, Okotoks, Alberta Canada is a global leader in terms of sustainable development. Our Town received an international award in Spain last fall. What can you tell me about solar technology where you are. Is recycling a major activity as it is in China? Are your used plastics exported to China? China is our major maket for certain types of plasitics.
Would be interested in your observations. Vancouver is learning to live within its boundaries established by geography - do you observe the same to be true in Taipei?
